报告摘要:In this talk, we discuss the hydrodynamic limit of the Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann system for the full range of hard and soft potential. By a newly developed H^2-W^{2,\infty} framework, including the weighted energy estimate and pointwise estimate with time decay, we construct a global solution to the Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann system and justify the convergence to the incompressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier-Poisson system.

报告人简介:周富军,华南理工大学数学学院教授、博导,数学与应用数学系主任。本科毕业于兰州大学,硕博连读毕业于中山大学,曾先后访问德国汉诺威莱布尼兹大学、美国布朗大学。已主持国家自然科学基金4项,省部级基金4项,中央高校基本科研业务费5项,入选首批“广东特支计划”百千万工程青年拔尖人才。主要从事生物数学中的自由边界问题、气体动理学方程及其流体力学极限等方面的研究,研究成果已发表在SIMA,TAMS,JDE, Nonlinearity, Euro JAM, CMS, DCDS-A等杂志上。
